Bass Coast Aquatic & Leisure Centre Learn To Swim update

Starting from July 1, 2025, Aligned Leisure will manage all 3 Bass Coast Shire Council aquatic and leisure facilities including Bass Coast Aquatic & Leisure Centre under the name Bass Coast Leisure.

Bass Coast Shire Council, YMCA Victoria, and Aligned Leisure have been working together to minimise any disruption to you and your family when using the facilities and services, but there will be some changes, so we have put together the following information to assist you.

All of your customer and membership information has been securely transferred to Aligned Leisure, and your membership will continue without interruption. There is no need for you to take any action.

Learn To Swim FAQs

Yes. Aligned Leisure partners with the Royal Life Saving Society of Australia to deliver nationally accredited lessons through the Swim and Survive Program.

Aligned Leisure will provide information to students and families to support their transition to the new program closer to the transition date.

Students will still be able to play and swim before, after and on other days as part of their membership.

We will make every effort to transition existing students into lessons on the same day and time.

Some changes may be required to accommodate the introduction of the new Swim and Survive Program curriculum (outlined above). Aligned Leisure will contact families in the event a change is required prior to 1 July.
